This special event is only held every few years and will be happening the weekend of Nov 14-16, 2008 at the Texas Motor Speedway. More details will be coming shortly.

TOPSANAH DISTRICT ANNOUNCES ITS 2008 CUB SCOUT TWILIGHT CAMP PROGRAM!

Be prepared for a swashbuckling good time! A great opportunity to keep the boys scouting through the summer and help your unit work toward earning the Summertime Pack Award. All Packs should pick a Pack Representative that will be able to communicate future information about Twilight Camp to their unit. All Pack Representatives need to be able to attend a monthly meeting the first Tuesday of the month from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.

For those going to Philmont, beginning in 2008, additional training is REQUIRED for at least one adult member of each trek. The Wilderness First Aid course is a 16 hour training session covering first aid techniques needed in the backcountry. There are alternative courses and Scouters receive a reduced rate on the course when taught by other Scouters.
